Description
Uranium glass is glass which has had uranium, (usually in oxide diuranate form), added to a glass mix before melting for coloration. The proportion usually varies from trace levels to about two percent uranium by weight, although some 20th-century pieces were made with up to 25 percent uranium. Have a look at these pieces under a blue light. There is a serious amount of Uranium in these pieces, and they are in mint condition. No chips and no cracks. The Pitcher measures 18cm high and the matching tumbler is 13cm high.
