"Afternoon Outfit" Dated 1913 – French Lithograph
This is a lovely large Bright Hand Coloured Engraving, signed by the Artist Victor
Lhuer. (French,1876–1952 Paris). Victor was a Student of Charles
Genuys and Edmond Lechevallier-Chevignard, among others, he exhibited at
the Salon des artistes français in 1899, 1902, 1903, 1904 and 1910. And he then
became the head designer for the couturier Paul Poiret and specialized
in costumes and haute couture. Later, he taught at the School of Arts Applied to
Industry.
This piece is titled "Afternoon Outfit" and dated 1913. Its in top condition, and triple
Matted with Black and gold frame. The frame measures 86cm by 56cm wide
